Welcome! I’m proud of the many accomplishments of the CMHA team, with guidance from our Board of Commissioners, in 2015 and look forward to working with you to build on these successes in 2016. Implementation of our HUD Choice Neighborhoods Grantin partnership with the City of Columbus, Ohio State, Columbus City Schools, PACT and many community organizationsis well underway. With the completion of 104 units of senior housing at Poindexter Place, Phase 1 of the 449 units of new housing being built on the Poindexter Village site is complete. Construction has begun on Phase 2A, which will have 87 units of mixed-earning housing, The Champion Intergenerational Center, located in the repurposed Poindexter Village community building, opened in 2015. It houses Columbus Early Learning Center, National Church Residences adult day center, and intergenerational programming offered by Ohio State. We’re excited about our Choice fundings progress and affect! We also continue to be actively engaged in implementation of the East Franklinton Creative Community District Plan.
